Another Luxembourg double victory at the DEULU-Lauf

Trier (teu) As in 2022, there was a Luxembourg double victory at the 31st DEULUX run in Langsur. Vera Hoffmann increased the Luxembourg 10 km road running record to 34:52 minutes. Her clubmate Bob Bertemes from Celtic Diekirch, himself a national record holder over this distance, repeated his victory from last year in exactly 31 minutes. However, the 29-year-old had a stubborn pursuer over almost the entire distance in the form of Lennart Zehfeld, who was only 18 years old. The junior from LC Rehlingen came second in 31:09 minutes ahead of Yannik Erz (Ausdauerteam.de Morbach) from Hunsrück, who was happy about a new personal best time of 31:39 minutes.

Behind Vera Hoffmann, Jenny Gloden from CA Fola, another Luxembourger, took second place in 35:32 minutes, ahead of the former Polish U23 middle distance champion and Junior European Championship participant Monika Halasa, who improved on her third place the year before by more than half a minute improved to 36:11 minutes. The best runner from the Trier region was Tine Hausmann (LT Schweich/Team getFit/37:43) in fourth place, also with a personal best time.

1,501 runners, 110 more than in 2022, reached the finish line in the 31st cross-border run through Germany and the Grand Duchy. On November 11th At the beginning of the carnival season, numerous participants also wore costumes.
